Once upon a childish time,

I heard a distant singing voice

Attracted by how lonely it sounded,

I flew nearer

The foolish butterfly fell in love with the lonely flower

And the wheels of time began to spin

Oh, lonely flower that bloomed for me

Is it my fault you fell in love?

Intoxicated by the gentle caress of my fluttering wings

You grew dependent on me, and declared:

"You are my life."

And I, the foolish butterfly, became drawn to you and we grew tightly entwined

Oh please, goddess of justice

Don't kill our love for the sake of someone else's happiness...

Your pollen began to fade

But still I chained myself to you

That was when I was captivated by a new face

And I flew closer

So the wheels of time began to spin once more...

I can't help myself, I haven't had this in a long time

And I'm so hungry...

Is it my fault that you fell in love?

When you opened your petals to me that day,

I mistook satisfaction for love

And you mistook kindness for desire.

But please, goddess of justice

The thread that was secured to my trembling wings

All I could do was flutter pitifully in this house

I had betrayed my poor flower

Now the spider has me in its grasp

Entangled by the swaying thread

The three of us are so pitiful

The foolish, greedy butterfly that fell in love with the lonely flower and sublime spider

Is now in a trap, and will be left to die

The spider eats its fill

".....I still love you."

Oh, lonely flower that bloomed for me

Is it my fault that you can't love anybody else?

It seems like the only thing I'm good for is breaking the people who love me.

But please, oh goddess of justice

Don't punish anyone else for my crimes!

Is now withering away as I drown its remembrance with my tears

I am the foolish butterfly who steals the voices of people's hearts

And destroy them in the process

Oh, lonely flower that died because of me

You shouldn't have opened up your heart's secrets on that day

But it's alright, I am now atoning for my crimes

You didn't see it because you had already died, but

The wingless me had died right beside you.
